Position Overview: The Control Room Specialist is responsible for safety and security within the LSP facility. This person is primarily responsible for monitoring entrance and exit doors, admitting authorized persons access to the Limited Secure facility, conducting various searches and monitoring live footage of the program. The Control Room Specialist shows dedication and willingness to work alongside the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM), supporting and carrying out the functions of the model to best serve the program. The Specialist is expected to have a nonjudgmental approach that focuses on skill building and basic principles of behavior (reinforcement, extinction, blocking and shaping).


Position Qualifications: High School Diploma required, some college preferred. Minimum of two (2) years direct care experience working with at-risk youths or a college degree with a minimum of one (1) year direct care experience working with at-risk youths preferred. Individuals with a background in security are highly encouraged to apply. Ability to manage and promote a therapeutic environment, taking into account the varying clinical needs of each resident. Possession of a valid Driver’s License. Must possess exceptional time management and high attention to detail skills
