Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents! We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide high-quality care in a supportive senior living environment. Pay is $27–$28 per hour based on experience, along with a $4,000 sign-on bonus.

Under the general direction of the Wellness Director, the LPN is responsible for providing quality nursing care and assisting residents in maintaining their highest level of functional independence and psychosocial wellness.

This is a full-time position with all shifts available, including opportunities to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

LPN Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for administering quality care to meet the total needs of residents.
  • Provide medication administration, handling, and storage.
  • Provide medication assistance to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policies, including pouring, preparing, assisting with administration, and documentation.
  • Maintain the medication cart and storage room in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Ensure accurate medication counts and the security of the medication cart and medication storage room during assigned shifts.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures related to controlled substances, narcotic counts, and documentation.
  • Use sound nursing judgment to evaluate changes in resident conditions and report to the Wellness Director and/or physician when appropriate.
  • Observe changes in resident status, needs, or preferences and communicate them to the Wellness Director.
  • Provide comfort and emotional and physical support to residents.
  • Report resident and staff concerns or issues to the Wellness Director and/or Executive Director, as designated.
  • Assist with vital signs and weight monitoring monthly or more frequently as required, and complete all required documentation.
  • Assist with resident move-ins, move-outs, and discharge planning as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with the American House philosophy and all written policies and procedures governing the Resident Services Department.
LPN Required Skills & Abilities
  • 2+ years of nursing experience preferred, particularly in long-term care, senior living, or geriatrics.
  • Experience working with residents with dementia preferred.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Current, unencumbered LPN license in the state.
  • Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of older adults.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
  • Strong staff training and customer service skills.
  • Compassionate, friendly, and resident-focused demeanor.
LPN Education & Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, TB test, and physical.

Skills Required
