Enjoy the special relationships a rural clinic has to offer!  Rare opening at our Dassel Clinic.  We are seeking a CMA or LPN to work at our Dassel Clinic.  

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Assists the MD/PA to help patients maintain heal or promote healing. Performs patient care duties with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

  2. Performs technical skills specific to assigned service area and other areas as appropriate

  3. To provides quality service to all internal customers. Assists all support service areas, as needed

  4. Accepts responsibility for professional growth and continuing education

  5. Accepts responsibility and assures quality, cost effective patient care

  6. Performs clerical duties as assigned.

  7. Accepts responsibility for communication with all customers Uses proper verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with patients, families d other health disciplines to support the continuum of health are delivery.

Education, Training or Degree Required:

1.  Medical Assistant Program Graduate or LPN registered in State MN

License/Registration/Certification Required: (will be primary source verified by HR)

  1. Current LPN license in the State of Minnesota or Medical Assistant certification required.

  2. BLS (if not current, within 30 days of start date).

Experience and Skills:  (indicate preferred or required)

  1. Previous Medical Assistant or LPN experience in a clinic setting preferred.

  2. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to patients served, along with appropriate support services to MD and/or PA required.  Familiarity with legal and insurance requirements related to documentation within the medical record required.

  3. Strong human relations, written and verbal communication skills required.  Ability to work without direct supervision.

Skills Required
