About the Team

Our dedicated Orthopedic team provides specialized, patient-centered while collaborating across specialties to ensure prevention, diagnosis, and treatment are seamless, compassionate, and personalized.

Through our partnership with Twin Cities Orthopedics, team members work alongside best-in-class orthopedic specialists to deliver exceptional care. 

Mission for Position

The Orthopedic LPN/CMA delivers high-quality, personalized specialty care while fostering an efficient, supportive, and collaborative clinic environment that promotes growth and learning.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Completing room preparation.
  • Completing the rooming process with the patient.
  • Assisting the provider with patient care items, including cast and splint application/removal, brace fitting, wound care, suture and staple removal, patient education, and supporting the overall musculoskeletal health and recovery pf orthopedic patients.  
  • Completing documentation within EPIC system.
  • In-basket and phone support to the Orthopedic Care Team with the flexibility of floating when needed within the Specialty Care Team to provide coverage/support.

Position Type 

This position is available at a 0.6-0.8 FTE (48-64 hours per pay period), with both part-time and full-time applicants welcome. The schedule consists of day shift hours, Monday through Friday, at our Staples Main Campus. 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant program
  • Must have and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Medical Assistant certification
  • BLS Healthcare Provider certification

Ideal Candidate 

  • Prior clinic experience and familiarity with Family Medicine care
  • Experience with EPIC EHR preferred
  • Motivated to grow professionally
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Demonstrates strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Enjoys learning new procedures and expanding clinical expertise
  • Passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care
