ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Assisted Living / Memory Care is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency response support within our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods.


Here are some of the duties you will perform:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Administers medications accurately and safely. 
  • Administers treatments including, but not limited to, dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen therapy, etc. 
  • Assists with direct resident care as needed. 
  • Maintains accurate documentation of medications administered and care rendered. 

Other Duties Include:

  • Assists with resident admission and discharge procedures. 
  • Responds to resident emergency call systems as indicated. 
  • Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders. 
  • Keeps physicians and families informed of changes in resident condition. 
  • Maintains the self-respect, dignity, comfort, and safety of each resident. 
  • Assures continuity of care and services. 
  • Attends assigned in-service training and education sessions. 
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. 
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

In order to qualify for this role, you will need:

  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Florida. 
  • Ability to create a warm, friendly, and compassionate first impression. 
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Salary: $25 with no experience

Shifts:

  • FT - 7a-3p
  • PRN - 3p-11p
  • FT/PT - 11p-7a
