POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Low Vision Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales in their assigned Great Lakes territory through demonstrating the technical benefits, education and support of products. Focusing sales on Low Vision Optometrists, Ophthalmologists VAs, state agencies, community clinics and rehab centers as assigned.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

 

  • Attains or exceeds the overall sales plan and provides customer support for eSight® Go (Territory goals - sales quotas, market share, product evaluations, distribution effectiveness, etc.) 

  • Calls on prospective Low Vision Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, creates demand, communicates clinical and patient outcome benefits, delivers product information, delivers demonstrations. Call points may include state agencies, Veteran Affairs, and or organizations specializing in low vision individuals. 

  • Drives market demand for the eSight® Go. 

  • Plans and organizes daily sales call activities to optimize the use of time and maximize the achievement of sales and market share objectives. Documents sales call activities daily and entering that data in the Customer Relationship Managment system for tracking. Records activity to the highest level of accuracy and timeliness. 

  • Develops and closes new accounts within the assigned geographic territory.  

  • Maintains timely and relevant communication with the assigned sales manager and other members of the Company.  

  • Effectively communicates competitive information and market information on a timely basis. 

  • Manages administrative duties as assigned: monitoring expenses to budget, timely administrative and call reporting, funnel and competitive data entries, use and maintenance of company assets.  

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.  

 

WHAT TO BRING 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, Marketing or related studies.  

  • 2+ years experience in physician office sales or 3+ years experience B2B Sales. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. 

  • Willingness to travel up to 75% in territory.  

WHAT WILL HELP 

 

  • Experience adapting to changing markets while attaining assigned goals and objective. 

  • Proven track record of managing a large geographic territory both converting new incremental business and retaining and nurturing existing business.  

  • Comprehensive knowledge of current US healthcare trends that can be integrated into region sales strategies
