At echo, we’re fixing a broken system. Vulnerability management isn't working – it’s reactive, noisy, and unsustainable. Instead of chasing CVEs, we’re eliminating them at the source.
Our AI-powered platform produces vulnerability-free base images that integrate cleanly into existing workflows, helping security and platform teams eliminate patching overhead without slowing down developers. Backed by top-tier investors and led by second-time founders who previously built the first software supply chain security company, which was later acquired by Aqua Security, we’ve gone from stealth to serving global enterprise customers in under six months.
We're now looking for an experienced Low Level Engineer to join our core infrastructure team and help build the foundation of Echo's AI-powered, CVE-free container security platform.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement robust infrastructure for supporting secured assets, including our revolutionary CVE-free container images.
- Build and maintain support systems for multiple Linux distributions, ensuring seamless integration with existing development workflows.
- Work closely with our AI engineers, security researchers, and platform engineers to integrate low-level infrastructure with higher-level services.
- Lead complex projects in close collaboration with Product Managers and other Software Engineers, from technical planning through execution and delivery.
What you bring:
Required:
- 5+ years of experience developing large-scale projects within development teams
- Hands-on low-level experience with Go, C, and/or C++
- Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, kernel concepts, and system-level programming
- Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment practices (CI/CD) and cloud infrastructure services (AWS)
- Familiarity with Docker, containerd, or other container runtimes
- Experience in vulnerability research and security research methodologies
Why echo?
- We're a fast-growing team composed of some of the coolest and most passionate people you'll meet, solving hard problems that really make a difference. You’ll have real ownership and a clear mission: to make cloud-native infrastructure secure by design.
