Low Level Control Engineer (Controls & Automation)

Your responsibilities
Analyzing & reporting of the system performance (PLCs and baggage flow), and undefined behavior and phenomena of the system, as well as the functional reports and specific flow situations
Creating shift reports and raising any problems in the automation system of the baggage flow line and debugging; coordinating with maintenance / SCADA team or open a ticket as needed
Executing the lifecycle of open tickets locally or through global service desk
Proper reporting between shifts and communicating with the stakeholders
Analyzing and filtering events which are potential incidents
Working on priority 1 and 2 incidents when escalated, resolving them within SLA
Delivering the preventive maintenance tasks & assigned change tasks (back-ups, patch execution, etc.)
Creating documentation such as manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams, and work instructions
Performance analysis on the tickets and performance review with Functional Managers.
Creating new or updating the existing processes according the change management process to increase the efficiency
Studying developments on product lines, working with the latest and current firmware updates of the products managed by the LLC team, and updating the information in the Synergy database
Your qualifications and skills
As an enthusiastic low-level control engineer you have the following skills:

Able and willing to work in shifts
You should also have:
a bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechatronics engineering or similar
understandings on PLC, SCADA (WinCC), industrial networking systems including Ethernet/IP, Profinet, AS-I Network and PLC communications, experience in programming Siemens PLC’s
understanding of SQL databases and reporting, as well as the diverse IT components (preferable)
ITIL Foundation knowledge (preferable)
certification on one or more of the above items (preferable)
1-3 years of experience on one or more of the above items, as well as automated material handling systems
ability to create customer documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams, and electrical drawings
excellent communication skills, writing and speaking, in the Turkish and the English language
residency in Istanbul or willing to move there, within commuting distance of the new airport

Skills Required
