SelecTrucks is a DTNA brand and leader in class 8 used truck sales in the USA and Canada. SelecTrucks of Tampa is looking to hire a qualified candidate for the position of Lot Manager. This person will help facilitate the sales process, as well as daily operations related to SelecTrucks of Tampa’s used truck inventory.

We Take Care of Our Team

Responsibilities:

• Manage all things related to the organization and cleanliness of the STC Tampa lot.
• General maintenance of grounds and building, to include, but not limited to:
  • Sweeping of lot and store front
  • Trash and debris pickup
  • Building maintenance such as changing filters, light bulbs, ceiling tiles, etc., as needed
• CDL license required (Class B minimum).
• Operation of Class 6/7/8 trucks/tractors on the STC Tampa lot; includes parking and driving on site.
• Manage display of vehicles on lot and regularly exercise vehicles in inventory.
• Light mechanical as needed, belts, wipers, filters, mudflaps, light bulbs, etc. to get vehicles ready for sale or delivery.
• Driving of Class 6/7/8 trucks/tractors to customer locations to include trips up to 8 hours in one direction, but within DOT hours of operation.
• Transporting class 6/7/8 trucks/tractors from various locations to Tampa
• Test driving of class 6/7/8 trucks/tractors prior to delivery (45min round trip)
• Jump starting trucks with battery box
• Installation of mattresses and safety gear into the sleeper berth of tractors (manually)
• Work with manager and sales staff to facilitate all things related to truck sales prior to delivery

The qualified candidate will have the following:

• High school diploma is required
• Excellent Organizational skills are required
• Ability to work with others in a team environment is required
• Computer Skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office a plus
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Excellent communication skills
