Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Long-term Intern (multi semester) to join our Technical Product Marketing team based in Grand Prairie, TX.
In this role, you will provide the Marketing team with additional support in sales support and focused marketing efforts as directed by the Coordinator, Regional Marketing and the Manager of Product Marketing & Analysis. Create effective and custom marketing initiatives within the region through an understanding of the customer’s / key stakeholders’ needs, wants and decision triggers. In some instances, based on a period of successful performance and learning progression, may act as the direct POC for specified sales team members within the North American territories and market segments.

Your Challenges:
Primary Responsibilities:
Regional Marketing: 40%
Assist the Coordinator, Regional Marketing with regional and market segment based sales support by preparing customized collateral, proposal decks, and targeted messaging materials for sales managers in the North American region .
Assist the Manager, Product Marketing & Analysis with regional and market segment based analysis, utilizing tools such as Salesforce and internal databases to track sales performance and customer interactions .
Foster productive relationships with all sales, marketing, & communications team members to ensure cross-departmental alignment, clear brand messaging, and seamless execution of regional campaigns .
Understanding the Customer and Competitor: 40%
Grow your marketing knowledge base on how our customers operate our products and impact our markets by conducting research on fleet utilization, mission profiles, and operational requirements .
Grow your marketing knowledge base on how our customers interact with our Airbus service offerings, such as HCare and aftermarket support solutions, to identify key customer value drivers and decision triggers .
Grow your marketing knowledge base on how our competitors operate within our markets by monitoring competitive product offerings, pricing strategies, and regional market positioning .
Understanding the NA Market: 20%
Develop an early professional level of understanding of our operators, our markets, and specific market trends across key commercial, parapublic, and private helicopter aviation sectors in North America .
Participate with the marketing team to define future marketing efforts, campaigns, and trade show graphics that create broader overall business opportunities for AHNA .

Pursuing an Undergraduate / Graduate Degree
This internship is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and who will be continuing their studies in the spring, summer, and/or fall semesters. Must have (1) a great attitude; (2) be inherently driven by new challenges; and (3) be highly motivated.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, an analytical aptitude will be essential to success in this role.

Travel involved: initially none, but may be moved to up to 10% Domestic based on performance & demonstrated maturity.

Preferred:

Some office work environment experience, even better if aerospace focused
Ability to work up to 29 hours / week during the fall and spring semesters

Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools, occasionally / as required
Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer, daily
Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving, occasionally / as required
Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor, daily / as required
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice, 10% / upon authorization and as required
Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces, daily
Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
