Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Trainee to join our production planning team at Valeo This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of logistics and supply chain management within a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment. The trainee will support the production planning team in ensuring efficient material flow and on-time delivery.
Job Responsibilities**
* Assist in the development and implementation of production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
* Support the monitoring of inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods, and contribute to inventory optimization efforts.
* Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, warehousing) to ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials.
* Participate in data analysis related to logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to problem-solving.
* Help maintain accurate logistics data within our ERP systems.
* Support the preparation of reports and presentations on production planning and logistics metrics.
* Learn and apply Valeo's logistics processes, procedures, and quality standards.
* Assist in identifying and resolving potential supply chain disruptions.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics and production planning functions.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
* Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
