Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Logistics Technician/Coordinator to join our team!
This role involves supporting the disassembly and reassembly of a military vehicle, including designing, scanning, and fabricating components. The individual will manage customer interactions, ensure project timelines are met, coordinate with Mechanics and Designers, support the Program Manager, and interface with manufacturing and fabrication functions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager in daily operations
  • Perform inspection and troubleshooting of tracked and wheeled vehicle automotive systems as prescribed in Army technical manuals
  • Assist with daily maintenance operations and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team
  • Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Maintain maintenance records, manage parts inventory, and order mandatory replacement parts and other supplies as needed
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Serve as the focal point for the customer, handling calls, meetings, and ensuring clear communication
  • Follow timelines to ensure project milestones and requested dates are met
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager, mechanics, and designers as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting military (particularly Army) wheeled and tracked vehicle systems
  • Familiarity with U.S. Army combat equipment maintenance
  • In-depth knowledge of Army Field and Sustainment Level technical manuals
  • Experience in coordinating maintenance activities
  • Understanding of the U.S. Army supply system
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, Logistics, Quality, Production, or a related field
