Onsite – Buffalo, NYOur team in Space and Defense Group is looking for an Logistics Technician I to join them. You will report to the Performance Leader and will have an onsite 2nd shift work schedule in East Aurora, NY.
To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Must have a valid driver's license
A background in inventory control, cycle counts or stockroom activities is preferred.
As a Logistics Technician I, you will:
Supporting inventory/warehouse operations including finished goods storage, demand/inventory/production planning, and cycle counting
Assist with the movement, storage, and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools, and packaging materials
Assist with import/export and customs management
Support shipping/receiving operations as needed
Executing inventory control processes and records management to achieve targeted quality, wastage, and inventory levels
Operate various material handling/warehouse equipment.
Heavily interact with Moog Business Systems and MS Office

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
