Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join and lead a hard-working team of associates at our Garland TX location. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will ensure safety, quality and productivity metrics are met while leading various process improvement projects and participating in cross-functional teams on warehouse and network design initiatives.

What You Will Do:
- Lead a team of 10-20, holding them accountable to savings and productivity standards
- Oversee logistics activities including inventory control, warehousing, transportation, logistics planning, order processing and customer service
- Partner with cross-functional teams in Quality, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing to proactively identify and resolve quality and service issues relating to logistics operations
- Assist in developing the site logistics budget with a focus on continuously improving year over year performance against metrics
- Coordinate operational redesign projects to improve performance and meet customer needs
- Monitor fixed assets and coordinate implementation of approved capital improvement projects in your functional areas
- Communicate standard logistics metrics to direct reports
- Resolve quality, service & cost issues
- Support oversight of inventory levels
- Additional Job Duties as assigned
Position Details:
- Work Week and Shift:
- Sunday-Friday -- 10pm to 6am
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR High School Diploma or equivalent/GED and 4 years of experience in a manufacturing, logistics or related environment
- 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business or a related field of study
- Proficiency with SAP, MS Access, and Excel
- Previous project management experience
- Exposure to TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgement, think critically and work well in cross-functional teams
