Job Description SummaryAs a Logistics Team Lead 3PL, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our third-party logistics partners and ensure the efficient and compliant management of our pharmaceutical supply chain. Your role is critical in maintaining the integrity and safety of our products while optimizing logistics processes and meeting customer demands. You will manage a team of Logistics Coordinators and -Specialists and report to the Logistics Manager. This is a fulltime role based in Eindhoven.

We are based at the Campus of the Technical University Eindhoven.

Essential Responsibilities

• Heading a logistics team of 3 coordinators, 4 specialists (hiring, evaluating, coaching, instructing);
• Oversee the activities of third-party logistics providers, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements;
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of 3PL partners, addressing any issues or discrepancies;
• Steering and supervising projects;
• Manage the relationship with carriers, freight forwarders; representing the business by leading monthly and annual business reviews;
• Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and other relevant regulations;
• Address and follow up any non-compliance issues promptly and effectively (Ensure the meaningful and timely resolution of Deviations, Investigations, CAPA’s, complaints and change controls);
• Supervise the compliance of the team (trainings, work instructions, overlooking the processes);
• Understanding and controlling logistics costs (airfreight rates, road linehauls, taxes).

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related;
• In-depth knowledge of 3PL operations and cold chain logistics;
• Experience in leading a team;
• Knowledge of GDP and other relevant regulatory requirements;
• Fluent English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Full-time availability.
