The European Regional Transport Management Center (TMC) was founded in Budapest by Robert Bosch Kft. in 2014. In order to keep and increase competitiveness, the intense development of logistical activities has become necessary, thus enhancing the importance of logistics within the company. As a result, alongside production and development, Bosch Group operates a high-level competency center in logistics field which offers efficient, globally unique and groundbreaking services to its plants.
Job Description
In our team we ensure the digitalization of Bosch’s global transport volume. With your contribution we roll-out and setup a newly developed transport management system for our plants around the world.
With your help, we ensure a smoothness system usage for our daily operation teams in all continents. For this a strong alignment with all stakeholders along the transport chain is mandatory.
Key activities will be:
- Training and onboarding of external suppliers and carriers
- System configuration (Network link creation, profile setting, Interface activation)
- Operationalization of Bosch transport network design via Route implementation
- Monitoring of implementation status, interface errors
- Coordinate implementation related activities with all stakeholders
- Drive implementation related process improvement projects via cross functional departments
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- University degree in Economics or comparable field or working experience in logistics and/or IT processes in the logistics environment
- Analytical but also creative thinking, highly motivated to develop, coordinate and implement new concepts and processes
- Ability to quickly understand complex systems, advanced Excel knowledge, precise work
- Customer-oriented, cooperative, communicative and able to work in a team and under pressure
- Experience with process implementation in Transport Management System and SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Fluent English and Hungarian knowledge, German is an advantage
