Scope of Position
The experienced and results-driven individual, as part of the Materials Department, will be responsible for overseeing all logistics, crating, shipping, packaging, and parcel operations to ensure efficient product movement, on-time delivery, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective logistical performance. This role partners closely with site leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize workflows, enhance logistics systems, and support strategic business objectives.
This position is responsible for supervision of the Logistics and Parcel Team.
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Fort Worth, Texas.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all inbound and outbound shipping operations, packaging, crating, and parcel activities to ensure efficient and timely product movement.
- Manage logistics performance metrics, including on-time delivery, volume planning, contingency planning, and operational effectiveness.
- Analyze staffing and scheduling requirements to support logistics operations and customer demands.
- Lead and maintain logistics systems that ensure traceability, tracking, and control of internal and external process documentation.
- Coordinate logistics objectives across functions to optimize product delivery performance and minimize costs.
- Support sourcing and supply chain initiatives that directly impact logistics operations and business performance.
- Analyze logistics data and develop improved procedures to increase delivery reliability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and root cause problem-solving methodologies.
- Direct transportation and logistics personnel to ensure strategic objectives are achieved in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Develop, coordinate, and facilitate employee training programs to support operational excellence and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify and resolve logistics challenges across the organization.
- Lead team members to work safely, ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coach employees, and support team growth and development.
- Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager or Company management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field from an accredited university; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading logistics, transportation, or supply chain teams.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to drive process improvements and implement world-class logistics systems and processes.
- Knowledge and experience in transportation and supply chain operations.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, \and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or management experience within manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments.

Working Conditions:
While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You may, at times, be required to be present on the manufacturing floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Fort Worth, Texas location (Monday – Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
