JOB SUMMARY
The role is responsible for managing daily logistics operations, including import/export customs clearance. This position supports the manager in managing end-to-end logistics operations at the Taiwan 3PL warehouse and provides daily operational support for the Reference Lab LOB across the Taiwan region. The role ensures efficient inbound/outbound coordination, accurate inventory and system transactions, compliant documentation, and stable service delivery to meet business and customer requirements.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Import/Export & Customs Clearance
- Prepare and manage import/export documentation and customs declarations
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and relevant parties
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and timely clearance of shipments
2. Return & Repair Logistics Management
- Handle return shipments of defective instruments and spare parts
- Coordinate with headquarters or repair centers for logistics arrangements
- Track and monitor return and repair status
3. Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, shipping, storage management)
- Maintain and adjust inventory records in the system
- Execute inventory write-off (scrap) procedures
- Conduct month-end inventory counts and discrepancy analysis
4. Reporting & Cost Control
- Prepare and verify logistics-related reports
- Manage expense applications, billing reconciliation, and issue resolution
- Support cost control and optimization initiatives
5. Local Procurement & Replenishment
- Handle local purchasing of goods and coordinate with suppliers
- Plan and manage inventory replenishment based on demand
6. Issue Resolution & Customer Complaints Handling
- Manage logistics-related issues, including:
- Damaged goods during transportation
- Short shipments
- Incorrect deliveries
7. Day-to-Day Operations for Reference Lab – Taiwan Region
- Verification of shipping documents for exportation
- Update daily tracker to make sure shipment arrival on time without delay
- To be the main point of contact between internal and external stakeholders which includes shipment pick-up arrangements, following up on shipment status and be the point of escalation when there is any delay
- Arranging inbound shipments for lab consumables and packaging materials for exportation
- Work closely with Import/Export Team on regulatory procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
College degree or above (Logistics, Business, or related fields preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
4+ years of related experience with at least 2 years in logistics, warehouse, or import/export operation.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft including Word, Excel and Power-Point.
- Good time management and teamwork spirit
- High willingness to take new challenge and work under pressure
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data handling
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Problem-solving ability with a proactive mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
