We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Logistics & Warehouse Specialist to support our growing operations in Las Vegas. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing domestic and international shipments, navigating tariffs and expediting problem resolution, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting daily warehouse operations, especially inbound and outbound.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hardware-focused environment and is comfortable balancing logistics coordination with hands-on warehouse support when needed.
What you’ll be drivingLogistics & Transportation
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments between Vay entities, suppliers, and warehouse locations
- Prepare shipping documentation and support import/export processes, including customs and tariff-related topics
- Track shipments, proactively resolve delays, and expedite critical deliveries
- Support freight cost optimization by working closely with carriers and freight forwarders
Systems & Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate data in ERP/WMS systems
- Support updates to logistics processes when hardware configurations or BOMs change
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics workflows and operational efficiency
Warehouse Operations Support
- Support inbound and outbound material flow at the Las Vegas warehouse
- Assist with receiving, inspection, picking, packing, and shipping activities as needed
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials
- Maintain accurate system transactions in ERP/WMS
Inventory Management
- Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliations
- Monitor stock levels and support replenishment coordination
- Ensure accurate inventory reporting in company systems
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with export control, customs regulations, and company policies
- Follow Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) guidelines
- Apprenticeship in the fields of logistics or warehouse operations and a high school diploma or equivalent are required
- 2/3 years of professional experience in the fields of logistics or international supply chains
- Experience coordinating domestic and/or international shipments
- Familiarity with customs documentation and trade compliance basics
- Proficiency in using warehouse management (WMS) and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other relevant software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Vay is the first company to drive a car without a person inside on public streets in Europe and the US, enabled by teledriving (e.g. remote driving) technology. Vay aims to launch a sustainable, affordable, door-to-door mobility service with remotely driven ("teledriven") cars: Teledrivers bring an electric car to the customer and pick it up after the journey is completed, eliminating the time-consuming search for a parking spot for the customer. While in the car, the customers drive themselves.
Vay sees teledriving as an alternative approach to autonomous driving and aims to gradually introduce autonomous functions in its system based on high-quality teledrive data.
Vay was founded in Berlin in 2018 by Thomas von der Ohe, Fabrizio Scelsi and Bogdan Djukic.
