About The Role
For our Mechanical Drives and Wind Business in Flender, we are searching for a Logistics Project Specialist! This role will be organizing all logistics operations and order processing activities (incl. import and export) related to product/project/service.
Since the work on the wind business side is a Localization project, the coordination task between all units needs to be organized together with HQ.
What are my responsibilities?
• Converting purchase requisitions to purchase orders in SAP systems, receiving order confirmations, following up orders and change orders and giving meaningful feedback to relevant parties,
• Coordinating local and international transport with the approved transportation companies in the aim of meeting the confirmed delivery dates of all purchase orders in line with the production plans,
• Completing required documentation for import and export operations and giving necessary instructions for payment and customs clearing,
• Ensuring that the materials arrive at warehouse/site/customer on time, complete and in parallel with required conditions & specifications,
• Coordinating return process of detective materials or the materials that are not in conformity with the required specifications, ensuring that replacement material is supplied on time,
• Preparing order follow-up reports and distributing these reports periodically to all respective groups,
• Responding information demands of PMs/BUs/Corporate Departments in respect of logistics & order processing & import/export topics giving required support to bid phase of the projects,
• Entering supplier' s invoices on time in SAP and following payment activities for them,
• Supporting the projects for optimizing the logistics cost, ensuring the project costs are booked on time,
• Evaluating the logistic suppliers continuously giving feedback to related logistics strategic buyer,
• Performing necessary risk checks for customers for the concerned Mechanical Drives business unit before orders are registered. Master data and order creation in SAP, follow-up of arrivals at customs and organization of the deliveries in the most economical way to domestic customers,
• Way billing and invoicing to complete the delivery process in SAP for the concerned Mechanical Drives business unit.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or relevant fields
• Proven experience in related field, 1-2 years
• Material Management, Project Logistics and Import & Export know-how
• Very good command of Turkish & English
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications
• Knowledge of customs legislation, contract law and basic accounting
• SAP MM Modules knowledge will be an asset
• Analytical thinking, result and quality-oriented approach and good interpersonal skills are required competencies.
