As a Logistics Specialist you are responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain of IT equipment and services. This role involves coordinating the procurement, distribution, and inventory management of IT assets, ensuring that the organization’s technological needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Your future role within QRT

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, including hardware and software assets. Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy. Monitoring and controlling inventory levels.
  • Procurement: Collaborate with our IT procure team managing vendor relationships.
  • Distribution: Coordinate the delivery and installation of IT equipment across various departments and locations globally. Ensure timely distribution of assets.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics operations related to IT, including shipping, receiving, and storage of IT assets. Optimize transportation and storage solutions.
  • Asset Tracking: Implement and maintain systems for tracking IT assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to disposal.
  • Support and Training: Provide support to staff regarding IT logistics processes and tools. Conduct training sessions as needed.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on inventory levels, asset utilization, and procurement activities. Analyze data to identify trends and improve logistics operations. Maintaining updates, timelines and target dates in designated software tool e.g. Excel, Monday.com, JIRA

Your present skillset:

  • Education: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Certifications in supply chain management or logistics (e.g., APICS,  MPICS, CLTD) are a plus.
  • Experience: [2-5 years] of experience in IT logistics, supply chain management, IT procurement and asset management processes. Or a related area.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams effectively.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn and understand complex systems and processes
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside of the box
  • Eager to learn new concepts and challenge the existing business framework
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
