About the Position
We are seeking an experienced logistics and supply chain professional to oversee the end-to-end process of TECH equipment orders, deliveries, installations and deployment for our data centres and colocations in Asia.
This role covers a range of sites across the Asia market. We are comfortable with this role being based in either our Hong Kong or Singapore office.
Additional responsibilities of this role will include:
- Developing, implementing and coordinating comprehensive logistics plans for equipment movement from warehouses to data centres
- Coordinating the demand plan for the smart hands required in the data centres with key internal stakeholders
- Managing the call-off process, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of equipment
- Coordinating, with the support of the business stakeholders, the planning of installations and deployments of equipment across multiple sites
- Working alongside the Procurement team to support the management of inventory levels and identify any stock challenges
- Identifying and implementing process improvements where possible
- Troubleshooting and resolving any logistics-related issues
- Managing customs broking and paperwork arrangements for both the importing and exporting of goods across the Asian market
About You
- 5+ years of experience in logistics and project management, preferably in IT or data centre environments
- Logistics experience in India and China highly preferred
- Proven successful in managing vendors and coordinating third-party services
- Understands warehouse operations and inventory management
- Excellent project manager and resource planner
- Skilled analytical problem-solver
- Strong communicator with great people skills
- Able to streamline and improve processes where possible
- Fluency in English is required
