Overview
The Materials area is responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures and material control systems activities related to material control and inventory control functions. Ensures materials are ordered and in stock while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the supply chain for TNS. They are also responsible for testing, configuring, and shipping equipment to all 4 Regions for TNS. They work closely with Project Managers to develop project plans and to meet delivery deadlines for equipment deployments for internal and external TNS Customers. They ensure that the required records are created, and databases maintained to request, ship, receive, deliver assets, and maintain accurate financial data.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors and reviews Remedy notifications sent to the Logistics Outlook Inbox
- Works to complete limited scope projects within budget and scheduling constraints
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored In the appropriate databases
- Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of projects
- Maintains various databases housing inventory, routing information, and services
- Schedules Field Technical support
- Prepares sales orders in RootStock Financial Asset Management System
- Updates Remedy tickets
- Updates multiple customer portals
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of commonly used network concepts, practices, and procedures
- Capable of following instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform various functions of the job
- Performs work under direct supervision
- Effectively communicates information verbally and in writing in a clear and coherent manner
- Works closely with all internal TNS departments, including Shipping on current, future, and emergency projects or replacements
- Provides 24x7 emergency coverage as directed to support all aspects of the TNS Network, to provide quick response, rapid technical assistance, and acquire site access
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
- Demonstrates experience in working concurrently on several easy to reasonably complex projects with guidance required
- Demonstrates the ability to use independent judgment regularly in performance of job responsibilities
- Performs job well under pressure and manages time effectively
- Familiar with RootStock asset management applications and systems
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- For this role, we anticipate paying $55,500k - $65,300 annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Optional Desired Qualifications:
- CSCP or CPIM Certifications
- ITIL Transition Service Management experience and or Certification
- Network + Certification
Education and Certifications:
- ITIL Foundations Certification
- Associates Degree or higher in Logistics, Telecom services or IT Networking or 2 years of experience in Asset and or Logistical operations
