Logistics Specialist

Location: Government Site in Wright Patterson AFB.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 a year.

INTECON, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Logistics Specialist to join its team and manage the coordination and compliance of logistics operations. The candidate must possess an active secret security clearance and have experience with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), government-furnished property management, and equipment transfer protocols within AFRL and DoD environments.

• Coordinate with Government Experimentation Teams and the applicable AFRL Accountable Property Officer and Logistics Material Control Activity.
• Ensure all equipment purchased for experimentation is correctly accounted for in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) to ensure compliance.
• Ensure all Government Furnished Property provided to third parties is processed through the DoD Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment and DPAS.
• Coordinate the transfer of equipment from AFRL/RS inventory to other AFRL Technical Directorates (TD’s) or owning organizations when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with the applicable areas in AFRLI 23-141 AFRL Equipment and Other Laboratory Asset Management.
• Coordinate with AF/Test Wing’s government Logistics to ensure proper shipment of equipment and tracking of experimental equipment in DPAS.
• Conduct annual inventory reconciliation to ensure compliance with Air Force equipment inventory policy.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably within a defense setting.
• Knowledge of DPAS and logistics software. 
• Secret clearance required.
