  • Collaborate with internal departments, international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and third-party warehouses to ensure efficient and timely logistics operations.
  • Ensure inventory transactions, shipment tracking information and goods movements are accurately recorded in the relevant ERP and inventory management systems.
  • Monitor changes in international logistics requirements and adapt shipping arrangements to meet evolving customs, regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline import and export processes, reduce costs and improve delivery reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Secondary education or a Level 3 qualification (e.g. A-levels, BTECs or equivalent), with an interest in developing a career in logistics, import and export operations, international business or a related field.
  • Previous experience in import and export logistics, preferably within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or life sciences sector, is desirable.
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures and trade compliance is desirable.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365) and courier or logistics tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
