At nVent, we are looking for a hands-on Logistics / Operations Analyst to support and improve our operations chain. In this role, you will focus on the day-to-day flow of products and help make our processes safer, more efficient, and cost-effective. You will be part of the operations team, working across production, logistics and inventory management. Your main focus is to analyze how things are running today and identify improvements where possible.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Support and improve processes in the operations chain (safety, quality, production and material handling).
  • Analyze logistics flows and develop practical plans to support production and distribution.
  • Perform data analysis to determine opportunities for improvement in logistics network.
  • Review and update procedures related to inventory and distribution.
  • Help select cost-effective transportation options for international shipments.
  • Identify issues in daily operations and propose solutions.
  • Work closely with colleagues in operations and customer care to keep processes running smoothly.
  • Take customer requirements into account in daily decision-making.
  • Partner with finance team to understand freight cost.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar.
  • Around 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain or operations.
  • Good understanding of standard logistics processes and systems.
  • Experience with ADG preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a practical mindset.
  • Ability to work independently within defined processes.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • Customer-focused way of thinking.
  • Fluent English. Dutch, German or Polish will be a plus.

Skills Required
