We’re looking for an individual contributor with recognized skills in a specialized role in the field of Distribution/Transportation.
What are we looking for?
Minimum
Bachelor's Degree OR
2 years of relevant experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain
Excellent Verbal Communication
Ability to builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain
1-5 years experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain; carrier facing
Knowledge of transportation Management system applications, routing and dispatch software
What will be your key responsibilities?
Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.
Carry out a range of supplier management activities, either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.
Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.
Help manage clients by carrying out standard activities and providing support to others.
Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols.
Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required.
