Job Description
1. Project implementation support
- Join in project team to implement Logistics cost clearance (LCC) project to new customers.
- Prepare master data and play as a key user for testing new setup in systems.
- Provide training and follow up LSP’s performance to make sure they follow aligned process.
2. Freight cost clearance operation
- Verify logistics invoice content from factual or from price verification perspective.
- Work in line with approved documentations to ensure that there is no unjustified transport cost approved for payment
- Create and update plant specific documents to be used for invoice verification process
- Use different systems which support Logistics cost clearance (LCC) processes and develop overall LCC knowledge that enables him/her to indicate process improvement opportunities
- Responsible for operative issue resolution and correspondence with stakeholders and logistics service providers
- Works cross-functionally with plants, entities, purchasing, logistics, finance, and accounting team internally as well as logistics service providers.
- Be a contact window for all topics related to logistics cost
3. Process improvement
- Ensure billing & operating process compliant with central detective and guidelines from management team
- Be entrepreneurial and creative in building the best-tailored solution to meet the requests from customers, Management, and pain points from daily work
- Be able to lead/work independently projects or assignments from management team to set up/improve new process
4. Reporting
- Prepared KPI tree and report to customers
- Ad hoc report as per requests
- Cost data analysis to share with plants or entities in case of spot rate/ad hoc shipment which happens frequently, Cost forecast for GB planning purpose.
- Other topics related to overall logistics and transportation as assigned by manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in international Trade, Supply Chain, etc.
- 1 years-experience in business field (Supply Chain, warehousing, Import-Export is a plus)
- Fluent Korean or Japanese skill
- Able to communicate in English
- Strong computer/systems skills like Excel, Power Query, Power BI, …
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skill.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with ability to work with cross-functions. Project management experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
