About the Role
Uber Freight is looking for Logistics Specialists with a background in the Transportation, Supply Chain or Logistics field. In this role, you will execute transportation functions to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, all while providing excellent customer service.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to its fullest potential in order to facilitate the lifecycle of an order
- Effective and timely freight coverage and carrier selection through systemic routing guide and spot shipments
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout order lifecycle (shipper, carriers, customer service representatives, etc.)
- Monitoring and resolving shipment data errors
- Meet and exceed customer expectations for on time pick-up and delivery
- Lead KPI review meetings with carriers to improve service and ensure alignment on expectations
- Identify cost‑saving and service improvement opportunities and support implementation of approved initiatives
- Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies in TMS
- Train new customer and vendor users on the TMS, demonstrating understanding of customer business practices and workflows
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum Vocational Education Level 4 (MBO-4)
- Fluent in English (minimum C1 level)
- 1-3 years of related experience in transportation, logistics, or warehousing
- Must be based in the Netherlands and able to commute to Leusden 3 times per week
- Availability for full-time employment (5 working days per week)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Proficiency in an additional language (German, French, Spanish or Italian) at a minimum B2 level
- Intermediate proficiency with TMS
- Basic understanding of BI tools and Tableau
- Intermediate proficiency with Google Workspace
