As a Logistics Specialist, you will serve as a strategic escalation point and subject matter expert responsible for driving global supply chain integrity. A critical component of this role involves taking full ownership of the Aging-In-Transit (AIT) backlog for the APAC and EMEA regions, managing multi-million dollar inventory resolutions, and aligning cross-functional teams to meet aggressive quarterly targets. Additionally, you will spearhead the Goods Receipts (GR) program for the APAC and EMEA regions, requiring a flexible, non-traditional work schedule to maintain vital overlap with international partners. By resolving complex shipment anomalies, managing global receipts, and streamlining the purchase order validation process, you will directly enable supplier payments and drive continuous improvement across the customer’s global network.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute the Goods Receipts (GR) program across the APAC and EMEA regions, ensuring accurate and timely systematic receiving for all international shipments.
Operate on a non-traditional work schedule (4 days x 10 hours) to ensure real-time communication, seamless collaboration, and critical time-zone overlap with stakeholders in APAC and EMEA.
Lead the strategic execution of the APAC and EMEA Aging In-Transit (AIT) burndown process, actively managing and mitigating multi-million dollar inventory backlogs.
Host and direct weekly, monthly, and quarterly alignment calls with global 3PL partners and internal leadership to trace AIT progress, resolve bottlenecks, and enforce accountability.
Serve as the Tier 3 subject matter expert and primary escalation point for unresolved purchase orders, complex BuySell actions, and late shipment resolutions.
Establish and maintain a single, centralized working file for shipment tracking to ensure cross-functional data integrity and eliminate redundant reporting.
Create, manage, and systematically resolve escalation tickets for orders facing Incorrect Status, Proof of Delivery issues, or Cancellations.
Translate complex operational data into executive-level weekly reports, dashboards, and presentations to provide senior leadership with clear visibility into AIT burndown and international GR progress.
Perform daily, in-depth root-cause analysis on late shipments, communicating directly with international 3PLs and site managers to force resolution and receipt.
Validate, document, and update the PO order queue daily to seamlessly notify the AP team to finalize supplier payments.
Own the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of inbound resolution and Goods Receipts Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Drive daily alignment meetings with core stakeholders to establish concrete action plans, consolidate tracking efforts, and prioritize high-value targets before quarter-end deadlines.
