SMX is seeking a Logistics Specialist provide subject matter expert (SME) support for the development of material supply chain and logistical/operational plans, life-cycle management, and customs expediting processes in the Philippines.
This position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access which requires US citizenship for work on a DoD contract. TS/SCI security clearance preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of logistical requirements IAW Department of Defense (DoD) Supply Chain Material Management Policy, as defined by DoD Instruction 4140.01; Department of Defense Instruction 5000.64 Accountability and Management of DoD Equipment and Other Accountable Property; Secretary of the Navy Instruction (SECNAVINST) Personal Property Procedures and Policy; and United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Directive 700-3 Special Operations-Peculiar (SO-P) Wholesale Supply Chain Management; and USSOCOM SO-P Major Funded Program (MFP)-11 Material Management.
- Operate general purpose Government vehicles to include cars, trucks, fork lifts, manual and mechanized pallet jacks, and/or hand trucks to load and unload, inspect, prepare, uniquely identify with bar codes, and inventory materials.
- Check, assemble, and process documents, and route materials and equipment for movement to correct locations or storage areas by using analogue means and automated equipment such as computer terminals and bar code wands to read, store, track, and prepare materials documentation.
- Participate in and conduct scheduled inventories, briefings, and training events.
- Participate in and conduct pallet/container loading, unloading, movement, and storage of material.
- Assist in the coordination of all logistics elements (e.g., spares, support equipment, technical data, training, facilities, technical data, provisioning) to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the customer's needs.
- Assist LSF w/monthly reporting and coordination with SOCPAC Property Book Officer (PBO).
- Assist in the processing of purchase requests by consolidating requirements, open market research, and inputting purchase requests into PR builder
- Be able to acquire and maintain a fork lift license
- Manage import/export of materials, supplies, and parts for the C6ISR program in the Philippines
Required Skills & Experience
- Required clearance: Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access
- 4 years experience, within the last 10 years, in property book management in a joint environment
- 2 years experience with SOF property management and import/export processes in the Philippines

The proposed salary for this position is:
$97,000-$162,000 USD
