The Logistics Specialist will support the Regional Logistics Manager by managing daily operations, ensuring process efficiency, accurate data management and timely problem resolution.
The incumbent shall be located in our office in Bingen or open to comute at least 2 days a week .
This role acts like the key interface between 3rd party provider (warehouse) and VPG internal customer.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily operation and work with the 3rd party provider (warehouse)
- Act as the first level support for inquiries from carriers, customs, and internal teams
- Proactively track shipments, communicate updates, and handle special shipment requests
- Act as compliance support (Customs, Sox, etc.)
- Point of contact for regional Logistics software support (QAD/TMS, etc.)
- Manage RMA: part of Global Reverse Logistics
- Capture and maintain accurate Logistics data to support current and future operational needs
- Backup for the Regional Logistics Manager during vacations, illness, or other absences
- Improved service levels through reduced delays (SLA)
- faster resolution of logistics issues
- Ensuring stable and scalable operations
- Improved process, driving consistency and efficiency
- BCP during regional managers’ absence
- Willingness to travel regularly to our site in Bingen am Rhein

Skills Required
- Strong command of German and English (written and spoken)
- Located in or able to commute to Bingen at least 2 days per week
- Willingness to travel regularly to the Bingen site
- Experience supporting regional logistics software (QAD, TMS)
- Experience working with 3rd-party warehouse providers and carrier/customs inquiries
- Experience with compliance activities (Customs, SOX) and RMA/reverse logistics processes
- Ability to capture and maintain accurate logistics and operational data
