DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure appointments are scheduled for pickup and/or delivery with shippers and receivers utilizing various scheduling methods (phone call, email, customer website)
- Schedule appointments utilizing the expectations and scheduling guideline processes as outlined by each customer
- Serve as a resource and support system for peers
- Document, organize, and continuously improve standard operating processes
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives using CHR’s project-based delivery model
- Develop and update comprehensive operational metrics
- Act as the primary point of contact for accounting teams, fostering and maintaining strong relationships
- Facilitate proactive communications, including calls and updates, to address and anticipate account needs
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
- Provide timely and professional written and verbal responses to customer requests
- Monitor any team mailboxes
- Resolve simple exceptions to any pre-defined processes
- Run, format, and distribute any reports to the appropriate internal or external parties as required
- Contributing to projects that utilize the enterprise project-based delivery model
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics
- Minimum 2 years of prior experience working with and troubleshooting information systems
- Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requested
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
- Demonstrated high level of proactivity and a strong focus on excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Ability to present to a variety of audiences, including some leaders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think critically, perform analysis, and solve problems
