Inside the Role
We are looking for a responsible Supervisor to oversee the materials workflow at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will not just be someone who supervises the work of others but will also lead, coach, and mentor team members to drive positive change. The Logistics Supervisor will supervise materials personnel, maintain inventory stock levels and ensure parts are received and stocked to the production areas while maintaining accurate inventory. The Supervisor will also be involved with leading Lean Logistics improvement topics.

Position offers a starting salary range of $90,000 - $115,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
- Support the development of the plant strategic plan for improvement and implementation for alignment with the DTNA’s Go 2030 Strategy.
- Support the successful implementation of Truck Operating System (TOS) to implement Lean Logistics by using TOS tools & Just in Time (JIT) and metrics such as time studies, value stream optimization, shortages per unit, material handling touches, pick rate efficiency, etc.
- Conduct daily inspections of work areas to assure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
- Support the training matrix by continually evaluating and developing Team Leader and employee skill level as required to increase flexibility and meet safety goals.
- Promote and execute Truck Operating System problem solving techniques such as PDCA and PRT’s across teams in an effort to reduce point of use shortages and to improve efficiency.
- Order, stock and move material in a manner to meet production requirements while minimizing indirect labor costs.
- Administer Company and Departmental policies and procedures. Address and resolve employee relations issues as they arise.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing by using Continuous Improvement and 5S tools.
- Maintain quality standards and cost efficiency.
- Participate in regular communication and build relations in cross functional areas.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- BS/BA and 2 years of Leading Teams, including Performance Management OR 6 years of relevant experience leading teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing or logistics setting in lieu of a degree
- Must be able to work with limited direction and be able to make critical decisions in complex situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
- Familiar with Materials Systems such as IMS, MES/WMS, ShopTech, Materials Work Tools

- Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing environment

- Kronos or other Time & Attendance System Experience
