The Role and Impact
As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will oversee logistics operations for inbound, interplant, and outbound materials, equipment, and finished goods, ensuring seamless execution of critical processes that drive Intel's Global Logistics Organization performance. Your role will directly impact operational excellence, ensuring timely deliveries, optimized solutions, and adherence to compliance standards. You will lead key logistics initiatives, resolve escalations, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance cost efficiency, speed, quality, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Manage logistics operations for inbound, interplant, and outbound shipments of materials, equipment, and finished goods, ensuring continuity of deliveries.
Provide dock operations ownership to support site start-up, ramp, and steady-state logistics execution.
Monitor and drive performance against logistics KPIs, compliance requirements, and operational standards.
Analyze logistics processes and data to identify inefficiencies, defects, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Track, escalate, and resolve shipping, warehouse, carrier, and execution exceptions.
Lead critical logistics escalations to minimize disruptions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external logistics providers to optimize supply chain execution.
Leverage analytical and digital tools to develop solutions that enhance cost, speed, quality, and reliability.
Deliver regular updates to senior leaders on logistics performance, risk assessments, and operational readiness.
Anticipate business and customer needs, ensuring operational readiness to support capacity growth, customer ramps, and strategic initiatives.
Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across internal teams and external logistics providers.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics operations or 3PL management with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree.
Expertise in warehouse operations, compliance, and supplier governance, with a proven track record of owning execution end-to-end.
Proficiency in SAP/WMS systems, inventory control, and performance metric tracking, with demonstrated ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in translating data into actionable decisions and sustained improvements.
Technical proficiency in monitoring logistics KPIs and driving operational excellence.
