The Customer Service Representative will provide best-in-class, professional customer service and order execution support to designated customers. Master and flawlessly execute the order-to-cash process. Be the Oracle key user to manage & maintain accurate data and inventory reporting while having an integral part in further implementing the system.
Job Description
- Lead projects around increase system utilization, customization, and transformation of the ERP system
- Assisting in testing and implementation of new business processes and features
- Build robust understanding of the contract to invoice process in Oracle and be capable of solving day-to-day operational issues (e.g. invoice corrections, credit memos, goods returns etc.).
- Setting up, updating and maintaining accurate Customer Master and other records in ERP system and ensuring that data entries are performed timely and accurately
- Manage a portfolio of customers in EMEIA and oversee the order to cash process from contract entry to final customer invoice in order to reach optimal fulfillment.
- Communicate pro-actively with customers to meet their export documentation requirements in a timely manner.
- Build close relationships with colleagues across all departments (e.g. sales, customer service, credit & accounting) in Europe & US, as well as with designated external vendors (e.g. outer warehouse operators).
- Problem solve customer issues and logistics challenges; recommend solutions and discuss continuous improvement opportunities with peers and managers.
- Plan and coordinate transportation needs with logistical partners and build alignment with the sales team on tariffs and terms.
- Plan ahead and work closely with sales to anticipate credit holds and avoid order delays.
- Take initiative for frequent touch base with Sales (internal) and Logistics (external) to report on current state and future outlook of ongoing business activities.
- Act as an extension of the sales team and maintain constructive relationships with customers, internal parties (US CS team, accounting etc) and external parties (logistic & warehousing parties).
- Maintain the momentum of delivery, follow up on contract execution (call off schedule) and report deviations to sales managers
- Assume other activities, projects and responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor degree ideally in logistics – supply chain related discipline
- Proven success as a key leader in implementing and/or transforming ERP systems.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant customer service or logistics experience
- Fluency in spoken and written in English is required
- Knowledge of Oracle is an asset
- Affinity with EDI (Electronic data interchange) would be considered as an important asset
