The Logistics Operations Assistant is responsible for managing documentation, resolving discrepancies, tracking operator information, and supporting the dispatch team with communication and logistical tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Recording and verification of movements in accordance with applicable regulations based on location and reason.
  • Clarifying payment-related questions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Recording and escalating mechanical failures, pending documentation, and operational records. Documentation of client incidents (e.g., no access, lack of personal protective equipment, etc.).
  • Handling calls in AWS, messages on the internal platform, and WhatsApp.
  • Tracking POD/BOL to ensure complete documentation.
  • Verifying operator availability. Preparing operator checklists. Calling operators returning from rest to confirm availability. Updating ETAs in the system.
  • Recording and closing “payment” events during weekends. Managing expenses related to pensions.
  • Ensuring new operators have access to the application and assigned unit.
  • Following up on advance requests and personal matters from operators.
  • Monitoring and tracking operator bonuses.

Requirements
  • More than 2 years of experience in sales and account management in the transportation and logistics sector is preferred.
  • University or technical degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in analyst and/or logistics roles is an advantage.
  • Ability to understand business processes using technology and conceptualize creative solutions for implementation.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, as well as interpersonal and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
  • English is preferred.
