Logistics Manager
Location: Frenchs Forest | Industry: Pharmaceuticals / Medical Devices / FMCG
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations in the dynamic FMCG sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers, maintaining high service levels, and driving continuous improvement across logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and freight carriers.
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to our Procurement Specialist
- Monitor KPIs and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, and production teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team.
About You:
- Proven experience (4-5 years) in logistics or supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems (e.g. WMS, TMS, ERP).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
