Welcome to Fi.

We’re a passionate team from Square, Google, Oura, Peloton, Uber, and more working to transform the human-pet relationship. Our mission? Develop cutting-edge technology to revolutionize what it means to be a pet parent. The pet industry remains firmly stuck in the past and we are here to change that. Fi is leveraging our team's talent and expertise to improve the lives of millions of pets in the U.S. Real-time location tracking, activity, sleep and behavior monitoring – and that's just the beginning.

The most exciting aspect of our work? Bridging the communication gap between pets and humans. Imagine a world where everyone knows how their pet feels in real time and how to keep their best friend in good shape. That's the future we're building at Fi.

If you're someone who thrives in innovative, collaborative work environments and feels strongly about helping pets live longer, better lives, Fi could be the perfect fit. Join us in our pursuit of the “impossible,” or as we call it here “let me find a way,” to redefine the future of pet ownership together.

Fi is looking for a Logistics Manager!
We're looking for a Logistics Manager to own our US fulfillment operation end to end. Our 3PL ships nearly every order we take across DTC, Amazon, and our retail accounts, and we need one person accountable for how well that warehouse performs and what it costs us. You'll own the 3PL relationship, own inbound freight from our suppliers through warehouse receipt, and own the cost line that comes out the other side. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to walk the pick path, challenge a bad invoice, and then defend the cost per order in a finance review.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the US 3PL relationship: weekly cadence, SLA scorecards, escalations, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Hold the warehouse to standard on what customers feel: on time ship rate, order accuracy, receipt to putaway time, damage, and shrink.
  • Drive root cause fixes on misships, mispicks, short shipments, and mislabeling, partnering with CX to kill what's generating tickets instead of clearing them one by one.
  • Own inventory integrity: WMS accuracy, cycle counts, physical audits, and reconciliation with the 3PL's system.
  • Manage kitting, assembly, and value-add work orders, and staff the site ahead of peak.
  • Build and maintain the SOPs for receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Own inbound freight from supplier dock to warehouse receipt, including bookings, mode selection, drayage, and delivery appointments. Make and defend the mode and routing calls, weighing landed cost against the risk of a late arrival on a constrained SKU.
  • Manage forwarder and broker relationships and keep documentation, classification, and duty treatment audit-ready.
  • Support new fulfillment nodes and international warehouses as we expand, from partner selection through cutover.
  • Own the fulfillment cost line end to end, cost per order, cost per unit, storage, value-add spend, outbound parcel, and build the cost-to-serve view by channel so we know what DTC actually costs versus Amazon or retail.
  • Audit 3PL and carrier invoices line by line every month. Catch billing errors, duplicate charges, and rate card deviations, and get them credited back.
  • Negotiate and manage carrier rate cards and run rate reviews and re-bids.
  • Find and execute cost-down initiatives that lower cost per unit without hurting service.
  • Partner with finance on the logistics budget: accruals, forecast to actual, and cost per order targets by channel.
  • Own returns end to end, intake, grading, restock, refurb, and disposition, and drive cost per return down as a managed line.
  • Feed return reasons back to product, quality, and CX to fix recurring defects at the source.
  • Bring fulfillment reality into planning, launch, and commercial conversations before commitments get made, and support new product and channel launches with packaging, labeling, and readiness.
  • Work with data and engineering to automate tracking, reduce errors, and improve shipment visibility.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years in logistics, fulfillment, or 3PL operations at a company that ships physical product, ideally consumer hardware or DTC.
  • Direct experience managing a 3PL or running a distribution center. You've walked the floor, watched a pick path, and caught a bad receiving process before anyone flagged it for you.
  • Supply chain finance fluency. You think in landed cost, cost per unit, and cost per order, can build and defend a fulfillment cost model, can tell a rate problem from a mix problem, and hold your own in a budget conversation with finance.
  • Hands-on inbound freight experience across forwarders, ocean and air, customs brokerage, and the documentation that comes with it.
  • A track record of auditing invoices and recovering real money, plus the persistence to chase a credit until it lands.
  • Experience designing and running reverse logistics and returns processes.
  • High data literacy and comfort in ERP and WMS systems (NetSuite or similar). SQL and strong spreadsheet skills are a plus.
  • A systems mindset and a bias toward action. You'd rather fix the process than work the queue.
  • Experience scaling logistics operations at a hardware or IoT company.
  • Multi-node or multi-3PL network experience.
  • International expansion experience, including EU/UK customs, VAT, and non-US warehouses.
  • Retail compliance exposure: routing guides, EDI, and chargeback disputes.
  • Six Sigma or formal process improvement training.

Why You'll Love Us:

  • Time to Recharge: Enjoy flexible PTO to take the breaks you need.
  • Top-Notch Health Coverage: We’ve got your back (and teeth and eyes) with full medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Wellness Perks: Free access to One Medical, Kindbody, and Talkspace to keep you feeling your best.

What We Do

Fi is rethinking the relationship between dogs and humans. We build products for your dog to live their best life. We are full of experienced, passionate people that have built and shipped outstanding products for Nest, Square, Google and Uber who all care about their dogs. Together, we're bringing a digital revolution to the dog space. Today's collars and leashes are relics from the past; nothing has changed since the 80's. We're using technology to improve the dog space and affect the lives of the 100 million dogs living in the US for the better. The hardest part about being a dog owner is they can't tell you when something is wrong. Fi aims to change that; even by knowing what their 'normal' day of activity is, we're already learning so much more about our dogs than we ever could before. And we're not stopping there. We're looking for people to join us who love a good challenge—and of course, dogs. We set the bar high at Fi. In our world, "impossible" means "let me find a way".
