About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Logistics Manager to join our Supply Chain team in the UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end flow of goods across the supply chain, ensuring products are delivered to the right place, at the right time, and at the most cost-effective manner.
You will oversee transportation, warehousing, inventory management, customs compliance, and distribution activities while working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and internal stakeholders. This role also requires close coordination with regulatory authorities, including customs and ports, to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and EH&S requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Optimize transportation routes, freight costs, and delivery performance.
- Oversee warehouse and 3PL operations, including storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy and stock availability.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners.
- Negotiate transportation, warehousing, and distribution contracts.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, HS codes, import/export documentation, and company policies.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Support demand forecasting and inventory replenishment planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to transportation delays, supply disruptions, and regulatory changes.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 7–8 years of experience in logistics management or with a freight forwarding organization.
- Strong knowledge of freight management across air, sea, road, and courier transportation.
- Proven experience managing warehouse operations and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Solid understanding of customs regulations, Incoterms, and international shipping practices.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement cost optimization initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management experience.
- Good understanding of logistics management principles, processes, and industry best practices.
