Job Description:
The Logistics Leader is a day-based, people leader who efficiently improves Quality, Human Safety, and Product & People logistics while Engaging and Developing talent. The Logistics Leaders are responsible for managing operations and systems relating to production planning, schedule of inbound/outbound shipments, materials procurement and control as well, as direct or indirect warehouse management, depending on the site.
Some of the key target areas would include accuracy of inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials and finished products, meeting on-time shipment schedules of finished products, developing policies related to materials management and leading related cost saving and process improvement projects.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others (Over 3 years to 6 years)
Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes
Excellent Verbal Communication
Ability to builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
What will be your key responsibilities?
Achieve specific goals for area of responsibility by working within an established supplier management plan or finding ways to improve it.
Deliver small-scale or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.
Manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage more important client and customer relationships.
Work within established knowledge management systems to deliver pre-set outcomes for area of responsibility.
Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols.
Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required.
