We are hiring a Logistics Lead Support to join our Supply Chain team in Venray (Netherlands).

Let's talk about the role:

The Logistics Lead Support is the point of contact for our Regional European Operation (REO), responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising process in our REO, complying with Customer and Quality/Regulatory requirements. Lead the European Commercial Operations teams in the development, optimization and maintenance of European Value Added Service activity and supports Design Authorities and QA team in the management of rework activities in REO and coordinates the related activities.

This role manages the daily activity from inbound to storage and to outbound in the outsourced Regional European Operation in Venray and collaborate with the team leaders of the 3rd party logistics provider.

This role has a centralized focus and requires a broad-based view of supply chain. It also has a high importance in Europe and is a major player in the actions undertaken to improve and personalize the services provided to ResMed customers and to turn that into competitive advantage.

In addition, as Logistics Lead Support, you will be responsible for securing ResMed´s operative ability to deliver devices and supplies on time at all relevant customers and patients touchpoints. This includes managing projects and close collaboration with numerous interfaces such as ResMed’s agile product team and IT organization, Customer & Technical Service, Commercial, Purchasing, Finance and Quality Management.

  • Implementation of the EMEA Logistic Strategy.
  • Standardize ways of working according to EMEA Logistics Strategy.
  • Act as Single Point of Contact for key topics related to REO operations (e.g. Sales Operations, Customer Service, IT, Service Provider, among others).
  • Work with Logistics EMEA in setting priorities and ways of working for REO operations inclusive of transportation.
  • Builds collaborative work environment with the Commercial Operation team and other critical Stakeholders.
  • Supports designs, Implements, and ensures the compliance of processes at REO and Transportation.
  • Support the definition Valued Added Services for operations, acting as liaison between 3PL (inclusive of Transport Providers) and ResMed.
  • Support ResMed Manufacturing teams to implement rework activity in Europe when needed
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to evaluate activities related to REO and conduct associated improvements.
  • Identify improvements opportunities in Sustainability.
  • Identification and exploitation of cost saving potentials.
  • Develop and implement local logistics budget monitoring, planning & forecasting.
  • Ensuring high service standards with excellent customer experience.
  • Realizing continuous process improvement & automation.
  • Accompanying company-wide projects with operational expertise.
  • Be the interface between all global ResMed departments and outsourced logistics activities in Regional European Operation.
  • Identify and manage improvements of processes in REO which relates to ResMed activities
  • Identify and address root cause of upcoming issues in the processes without impacts to customer orders.
  • Lead and drive European projects by engaging with the Business Excellence program and being the point of contact and/or SME for the operations at REO
  • Leading and developing the onsite team.

Let’s talk about qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering / Operations / Supply Chain Management
  • Great level of business English, both written and spoken
  • Experience in project management with / for multi-cultural and matrix teams
  • Experience in Medical Industry or outsourced warehouse environment
  • Strong affiliation with transportation is preferred
  • Advanced skills in Excel, power point.
  • Autonomous and in priorities
  • Ability to translate business requirements into standardized and optimized processes, including knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Kanban, 5S
  • Ability to create original concepts, to model processes, and to think creatively and beyond constraint.
  • Ability to lead projects and teams and collaborate and/or follow in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process improvements and/or project management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain positive relationships
  • Constantly seeking to improve performance.
  • Recognizes that focusing on service delivery is a critical factor in business success.
  • Tableau, Oracle, BI reports.
