Job Description
As a Logistics Financial Analyst, you will help ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and cost transparency across logistics operations within the assigned region. You will partner with Logistics Operations, Finance, Sourcing, Tax, Controllership, and external service providers to support freight audit programs, improve financial controls, and identify opportunities for process and cost optimization.
You will be part of the Global Integrated Supply Chain organization and will collaborate with stakeholders across EMEA and APAC. You will report to the Supervisor, Global Logistics Performance & Freight Claims and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice.
Your Responsibilities:- Lead freight audit and payment governance activities to ensure invoice accuracy, financial compliance, and timely resolution of billing discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain logistics financial reporting, performance metrics, and cost analyses that support operational and business decision-making.
- Partner with Logistics Operations, Finance, Tax, Accounts Payable, and Controllership teams to ensure compliance with regional regulations, financial policies, and audit requirements.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities through freight audit providers, benchmarking tools, and logistics spend analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to freight payment processes, carrier billing standards, financial controls, and logistics operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business, Accounting, Logistics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience supporting freight audit, transportation finance, logistics operations, supply chain analytics, accounts payable, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with third-party freight audit providers or freight payment processes.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Legal authorization to work in Poland. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this position.
- Experience in logistics finance, transportation accounting, or freight payment governance within a global organization.
- Knowledge of freight rate structures across multiple transportation modes, including Air, Ocean, Parcel, LTL, Truckload, Brokerage, and Warehousing.
- Experience supporting carrier invoicing, freight accruals, financial controls, or transportation spend management.
- Knowledge of VAT, duty, and regional regulatory requirements impacting freight and logistics transactions.
- Experience using SAP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Freight Audit platforms, and Power BI.
- Experience performing financial benchmarking, cost optimization analysis, and logistics performance reporting.
- Experience leading process standardization or continuous improvement initiatives.
