23 May 2026We’re one of the world’s oldest start-ups — and we’re just getting started.
At Husqvarna Group, innovation is in our DNA. With over 330 years of heritage and a passion for pioneering technology, we design and deliver world class products and solutions for forest, park, garden and construction care. From robotic lawn mowers to cutting-edge chainsaws and sustainable battery systems, we’re shaping the future — and we want you to be part of it.
In this role you will become a part of the logistics and production engineering environment within our Chain & Bar manufacturing operations in Huskvarna. The team works closely with production, planning as well as engineering to develop efficient, safe and sustainable material flows. In this role you will report to Sebastian Sihvo, Group Manager.
About the role:
As a Logistic Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and improving logistics processes within production. The role is hands-on and operational, while also involving analysis, optimization and project initiatives. You will work closely with operators, production leaders and engineers to identify improvement potential and shape future ways of working within logistics. You will be involved in driving improvement initiatives and projects, analyzing and optimizing material flows, and supporting the organization with your logistics expertise.
A natural part of the role is working with inventory, buffers and material flow set-ups, as well as contributing to discussions around layout, safety and efficient flows. You will also help implement smarter ways of working, update routines when needed and keep an eye on new logistics solutions and technologies that can support continuous improvement.
About you:
You are a proactive and driven person who enjoys being close to the business. You are comfortable working in a production environment, value collaboration and are motivated by turning analysis into practical improvements.
You are curious, communicative and humble in your approach, with the ability to build trust and work closely with operators and production leaders. You take initiative, dare to challenge existing ways of working and are not afraid to try new ideas - seeing learning as a natural part of development.
Your skills and background:
A university degree in logistics, industrial engineering or a similar field (minimum of three years)
Experience from a production or factory environment, either through work or internships
An understanding of material flows, logistics optimization and production-related processes
Experience or interest in project-based work within logistics or manufacturing
Ability to collaborate across functions and translate technical perspectives into practical solutions
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Location
This position will be based in Huskvarna where the work will be conducted on site, with room for some flexibility.
