Role Overview
The role of the Logistic Coordinator is a global role and may be asked to perform duties for countries across the globe. The individuals in this role must handle multiple simultaneous tasks by reviewing customer orders, sourcing decisions based on business rules and conditions, providing information such as order status and part number information to internal and external customers. Updating orders with information in a time sensitive manner to ensure that schedules for the field can be managed in an optimized way is key to the success of this role and NCR services.
- Coordinate logistics operations for customer equipment repairs across the country, supporting supermarkets and warehouse clients with inventory-based operations.
- Plan, track, and report on equipment status and movement nationwide.
- Coordinate the movement of spare parts, including proactive alerts for shortages and inventory gaps.
- Act as the primary point of contact between logistics, customers, field engineers, planners, procurement teams, and distribution centers.
- Work closely with field managers, transportation teams, and account owners to ensure timely part delivery and service execution.
- Monitor logistics performance, identify risks, and escalate issues with a strong sense of urgency.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and dashboards related to inventory levels, shipments, and equipment status.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes, service-level agreements, and operational timelines.
- Minimum 4 years of higher education (Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent technical degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or inventory management roles.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reporting, tracking, data analysis).
- Intermediate to advanced English (written and verbal).
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with high operational complexity.
- Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience coordinating logistics operations at a national level.
- Background in service logistics, repairs, or spare parts management.
- Experience interacting with customer-facing teams or key accounts.
