Starting Wage

$33.63 hourly

Location

On-site position in Vista, CA.

Schedule

Monday to Friday 6:30 AM to 3:10 PM

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with carriers and customers to ensure timely and secure efficient and cost-effective outbound transportation of cold chain & dry products.
• Consolidate purchase orders by region to maximize shipping efficiency, support time deliveries, promote sustainable initiatives, and achieve cost savings.
• Learn and become proficient in the basic functions of Deacom ERP system, including reviewing and adjusting ship dates as necessary to maintain accurate MRP data to support inventory planning.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to purchase orders, shipment status, and other logistic related issues.
• Retrieve and organize shipping documents to support chargeback investigations and deductions.
• Support in continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall performance.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a high school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, warehousing, and truck dispatching
  • 3 years of experience with customer service support with a focus on supply chain.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

Skills Required
