For our operations in Panama, we are seeking a Logistics Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all logistics services are carried out accurately and in compliance with both international and local regulations. You will also support efforts to maintain high service quality and efficiency while managing resources and processes effectively.
Some of your tasks will be the following:
- Assess and use ideal shipping methods (air and sea), routing, or carriers to meet necessary parameters based on specification and cost.
- Overall commercial services for Logistics (selling, shipments follow-up, others)
- Prepare final invoice, sent to customers and follow-up the payments of logistics services
- Prepare and ensure all documents for outgoing/incoming shipments are done according to agreement
- Follow up and keep proper records of documents according to our QHSSE policy
- Liaise and communicate with freight/transportation/customs service providers
- To support in other activities related to the business
What we need from you:
- College Student or in the last year of careers related to: logistics, commerce, or minimum 1-2 year experience in Import/Export, Logistics.
- Good computer skills
- Intermediate-Advance English (both written and verbal)
- Team Player
- Ability to work with own initiative, persuasive, results oriented and provide good customer service.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods transport regulations in all transport modes
