Position Title: Logistics Assistant
Location: 6th October City, Cairo, Egypt
Position Overview

H.B. Fuller seeks an Import & Export Specialist to manage international logistics operations and ensure the timely, compliant movement of goods across global supply chains. This role coordinates shipments, customs clearance activities, and trade documentation while maintaining cost efficiency and service excellence. The position collaborates with suppliers, customers, freight partners, and internal stakeholders to support uninterrupted business operations.
 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end import and export shipments, including transportation, booking, and tracking
  • Prepare and review shipping documents to ensure compliance with international trade regulations
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to resolve shipment issues
  • Monitor shipment schedules and ensure on-time delivery to meet business and customer requirements
  • Manage ACID creation and NAFEZA-related import processes
  • Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure timely submission of required documentation
  • Verify logistics service provider costs, invoices, and SAP transactions
  • Track logistics costs and prepare shipment, compliance, and performance reports
     

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in import/export, logistics, or international trade operations
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Authorization to work in the applicable location and knowledge of customs and trade compliance requirements
     

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with ACID, NAFEZA, customs clearance, and Egyptian import regulations
  • Knowledge of international shipping documentation and freight management processes
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and cost optimization focus
