Job Description:
Logistics Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically plan and execute end-to-end logistics operations for international shipments across multiple transportation modes (ocean, air, rail, and truck)
- Process and track bookings from origin to final destination, proactively resolving any transit delays or documentation issues
- Maintain transportation data in relating system in a timely manner
- Serve as the primary logistics liaison for international project teams across different time zones, requiring flexible working hours
- Develop and maintain detailed logistics timelines aligned with critical project milestones, conducting risk assessments for potential delays
- Chair weekly supplier performance reviews, analyzing KPIs including on-time delivery rates, damage frequencies, and documentation accuracy
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes and reduce cycle times
- Generate comprehensive weekly reports analyzing trends in shipping costs, transit times, and service disruptions
Required Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Professional Experience
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills across multiple formats (email, phone, video conference, in-person)
