What's it like to work for the Battery Technology Center (BTC)? We are a small group of engineers, engineering technologists, technicians, and additional support staff dedicated to delivering for our customers on a variety of power solutions projects.
The Logistics Analyst II position will require the following key duties:
- Receive and respond to requests for purchasing materials, including writing, submitting, tracking, monitoring and controlling purchase requests and collating all associated documentation to support the purchasing process
- Act as primary liaison for tracking all on-going materials requests for the program, including providing status updates and proper documentation, as needed
- Develop a strong understanding of the purchasing process, including coordinating with the corporate buyer personnel to adequately plan for upcoming purchase requests
- Identify and analyze trends in material use and needs and provide recommendations for material purchases, particularly for electrochemical cells/batteries
- Monitor and control internal/external calibration services for all test equipment, e.g. environmental chambers, test equipment, etc., including maintaining accurate internal/external calibration records, scheduling routine system maintenance efforts for equipment, and escorting calibration technicians while on-site, as needed
- Provide inventory database management support for all government-furnished materials and equipment (GFM/GFE), including accurate logging/tracking/issuing materials in support of various customer projects
- Provide warehouse storage support for all government materials, including proper storage and labeling of all materials
- Coordinate with the test and engineering managers to make recommendations for disposal and/or replacement of GFM/GFE
- Support shipping/receiving efforts to effectively meet the customer's requirements
- Support inventory report requirements on a quarterly and annual basis, including any ad hoc requests from the customer
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Skills Required

- Warehouse storage, labeling, and shipping/receiving experience
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to safe warehouse and laboratory practices
